1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Kuralew, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Ethiopian phone number to create an account and use our services. By using Kuralew, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate and truthful information
• One account per person — multiple accounts may be suspended
• You must not share your account credentials with others

4. Listing Rules

When posting ads on Kuralew, you agree that:

• All information in your listing is accurate and not misleading
• You have the legal right to sell the item or offer the service
• Your listing does not violate any Ethiopian laws or regulations
• Images used are your own or you have permission to use them
• You will not post duplicate listings or spam

Prohibited items include: illegal goods, weapons, drugs, counterfeit products, stolen goods, adult content, and any items prohibited under Ethiopian law.

5. Transactions

Kuralew is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction between users. You are responsible for verifying the quality, safety, and legality of items before purchasing. We recommend meeting in public places and inspecting items before payment.

6. Payments

Payments for optional services (Featured Ads, Bump Ads) are processed through Chapa and Telebirr. All fees are in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward other users
• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Attempting to circumvent our security measures
• Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools without permission
• Impersonating another person or entity

8. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any listing or suspend any account that violates these terms. Users can report violations through our reporting system. Decisions on content moderation are at our sole discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

Kuralew is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to losses from transactions, data breaches, or service interruptions.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Addis Ababa.
